1. Introductions, apologies and substitutions
1.1 The Chair welcomed everyone to the meeting.
1.2 Apologies were received from Julie James, for whom Gwyn Price attended as a substitute, and Dafydd Elis-Thomas.
2. Active Travel (Wales) Bill: Stage 1 - Evidence Session 1
2.1 The Committee took evidence from the Minister in charge of the Bill, Carl Sargeant AM, Minister for Local Government and Communities.
Action Points
The Minister agreed to provide the following:
· Figures showing the changes in the number of people walking and cycling for recreational purposes since the introduction of Welsh Government initiatives;
· A note providing more details about financial consolidation for the delivery of the Bill and other travel initiatives.
3. Motion under Standing Order 17.42 to resolve to exclude the public for the remainder of the meeting
